The circular frame has anaccurately centered wheel and adjustablecounter poise. The system is held in yoke inwhich it pivots freely about a horizontal axis.The yoke is supported by a rod which turnsabout a vertical axis. When unbalanced, thewheel axis will never the less remain horizontal but willprocess in a clock wise or counter clock wise directiondepending upon the position of the centre of gravity.
