Apparatus for Statics Experiments

Model HV-EXP2597
Technical Description The unit enables the fundamentals of statics, such as equilibrium, force resolution, the principles of levers, and similar issues to be clearly demonstrated. The base unit is a free-standing mounting board. All the parts necessary for the experiment can be quickly attached to the rails that are attached to the edge of the board. The printed 50-mm grid enables structures to be accurately assembled. The co-ordinates provided by the grid make the additional measurement of angles unnecessary. Two ball bearings facilitate low friction torque experiments. The dynamometers are of particularly large diameter for demonstration purposes. A special educational feature is the ability to write directly on the board using fibre-tip pens. The individual parts are supplied in a storage tray..
