Bar breaking apparatus with slotted end pillars to hold an iron bar, is used to study thermal expansion & contraction in science labs. It is manufactured in heavy cast iron. The bar is settled at one end with a large tensioning nut and has holes at the other end to put up with cast iron breaking bars. Supplied with extra breaking bars.
