This is for capping test cylinders and core for compressiontesting. It can be used both in the laboratory and the field.The set comprises a cylinder capper, a cylinder carrier and aladle.The cylinder capper consists of a base on which twoaccurately machined plates are mounted. One plate is firmly fixed and the other one is adjustable horizontally. Two platesare provided with holders for holding the cylinder In position.The holders are split and the bottom half of each holder isfixed firmly and the top half of each is removable and bolteddown to the lower half. On the upper parts V-is provided forpouring the capping compound. Two spacers are alsoprovided. The cylinder carrier is used for carrying the cylinderfrom the storage tank to the capper and back. The ladle is forpouring te molten capping compound into the V of the capperwhile capping a concrete cylinder. For specimens 15 cms dia x 30 cms long..
