In menopause, diminished ovarian function leads to decreased estradiol secretion, and higher levels of circulating FSH. The FSH Menopause Tests have a sensitivity of 40 mIU/ml.

The Menopause FSH Urine Test provides qualitative screening results and is available in formats for healthcare professional use or Over-The-Counter (OTC) use.  It is recommended that a more specific alternate chemical method be used to obtain a confirmed analytical result.
