This a simple set up is designed to assess the various forces involved during grinding operations, It is used for demonstrative purposes in science labs for the students studying tool designing and crafting. This unit works on octagonal ring method using strain gauge as a sensor. A two channel digital force indicator allows measurement of both the forces side by side. Range of force measurement in coordinate direction is 0 to 200 kg and overall size of mechanical unit is300 x 300 mm.
