TCA are a group of antidepressant drugs taken
orally or intramuscularly. This test is capable of detecting amitriptyline,
desipramine, Imipramine and nortriptyline. TCA urine drug test provides
qualitative screening results and is for use by healthcare professionals only.
It is recommended that a more specific alternate chemical method (i.e.
GC/MS) be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result.
